Pretty bizarre new-wave album with components of art rock. Tracks are consistent however lack a strong connection or theme, 6/10. Again the writer just showing his love for goofy late 70s rock, however Jocko Maniac authentic love no much less than Devo is catchy. There are a few jokey nonsense tracks on here but additionally sufficient good shit that it wasn't TOTALLY annoying. So easy to only think of Whip It whenever you hear Devo.

Hard to think about the shock this would have had on launch. Still totally bonkers in locations, one of the best ever Satisfaction cowl, and in Mongoloid a song that could by no means have been written today . Only not a 5 as one too many music follows the identical template. I'd forgotten how punky this album was!
